Privacy Policy

What we collect, who receives it, and how to make us stop.

1. Scope

This policy explains how Direct Media Services, LLC (“Direct Media Services”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use this website or request a booking. It applies to directmediaservicesllc.com and to our booking and scheduling services.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, service address, ZIP code, the trade you need, your description of the job, your property type, whether you own or rent, and your preferred appointment date and time window.

Consent records. When you tick a consent box we record the timestamp, the page URL, the exact consent language displayed to you, and your browser user agent. We keep this as proof that consent was given.

Technical and campaign information. We collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid and fbclid. This tells us which advertising produced your request.

Payment information. We do not collect or store card numbers on this website. Payments are processed by a third-party PCI DSS compliant processor. We receive only a confirmation, the last four digits and the transaction reference.

3. How we use it

  • To qualify your request and check serviceability in your area;
  • To match you with an appropriate licensed provider;
  • To schedule, confirm and coordinate your appointment;
  • To contact you about your request by phone, SMS or email;
  • To take payment of the booking fee and to process refunds;
  • To contact you about related home service offers, where you consented;
  • To measure advertising performance and improve the service;
  • To detect fraud and duplicate or abusive submissions; and
  • To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

4. Who we share it with

This is the section that matters most, so it is specific.

  • The provider we match you with. They receive your name, phone number, email, service address and job description — what they need to attend and perform the work.
  • Our partner network. If you ticked the consent box, we share your contact details and request information with vetted third-party home service companies, home warranty providers and their marketing partners, who may contact you about related offers. This sharing is a core part of how our service operates and how it is funded. If you do not consent, we do not share your details for this purpose.
  • Service providers we use. Hosting, email delivery, CRM, telephony, payment processing, analytics and consent-certification vendors, acting on our instructions.
  • Legal and safety. Where required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, property or the safety of any person.
  • Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your information to anyone who has not been vetted as described above, and we do not share it with the partner network at all unless you consented.

5. Your choices and how to opt out

You can stop hearing from us at any time:

  • SMS: reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
  • Email: click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Phone: ask to be added to our internal do-not-call list, or call (405) 504-3786.
  • Everything: email info@directmediaservicesllc.com with “opt out” in the subject line.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about a booking already in progress. Once your details have been shared with a partner who contacted you, you may also need to opt out with that partner directly — tell us and we will identify who received your information.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their state statutes.

To exercise any of them, email info@directmediaservicesllc.com with your request and the email address or phone number you used. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe your state law requires (generally 45 days). You may use an authorised agent.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To opt out of the sharing described in section 4, email us with “do not sell or share” in the subject line. We also honour Global Privacy Control signals where our systems receive them.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site function, to remember your campaign attribution during a session, and for analytics and advertising measurement (which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel, depending on what is enabled).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break the booking form. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on, and manage interest-based advertising through your Google and Meta ad settings.

8. Data retention

We keep booking and consent records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and evidentiary obligations — generally five years from the date of the transaction, and longer where a dispute or legal requirement demands it. Marketing contact records are kept until you opt out, plus the period needed to honour that opt-out on our suppression lists.

9. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and vendors selected for their security posture. No card data is stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info@directmediaservicesllc.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date shows when it last changed, and material changes will be posted here before taking effect.
