Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers information we collect through our website, our quote and contact forms, and calls or messages with our team. It does not cover the practices of the licensed agents, carriers, solar developers, home warranty providers, energy suppliers or other partners we introduce you to. Each of them has its own privacy policy that governs what they do with your information once they receive it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Identifiers and contact details: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code and, if you provide it, mailing address.
Qualifying details: the product category you chose and your answers to the questions on the form, such as age range, household size, income range, tobacco use, homeownership, utility provider, monthly bill and current coverage.
Messages: anything you write in a contact or privacy-request form, or tell us on the phone. Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality and compliance where the law allows.

Information collected automatically

Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site and the time of your visit.
Attribution data: campaign parameters (such as utm_source) and advertising click identifiers in the link you used to reach us.
Consent evidence: when you submit a form we record the exact consent language shown, the date and time, the page URL and your browser user-agent. Where enabled, a third-party certification service (such as TrustedForm or Jornaya) may independently record the form session to document your consent.

Information from other sources

We may receive confirmation from partners that they contacted you or that a request was invalid, and we may use address and phone validation services to check that what you entered is deliverable.

3. How we use it

To check whether the product you asked about is available in your area and to match your request to licensed partners.
To send your request to those partners and to document your consent to be contacted.
To respond to your questions, process opt-outs and privacy requests, and resolve complaints about partners.
To measure how our website and advertising perform, and to prevent fraud, duplicate or automated submissions.
To comply with the law and enforce our terms.

Matched partners. The licensed agents, agencies, carriers, solar developers or subscriber organizations, home warranty providers, energy suppliers or brokers in the category you selected. We are compensated by these partners.
Marketing partners. If you provided the consent on our form, the marketing partners described on our Marketing Partners page may receive your contact information to offer related products. Under some state laws this sharing is treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; see section 7 for how to opt out.
Service providers. Companies that host our website, deliver form submissions, send email and text messages, verify consent, validate contact details, record calls and provide analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena or court order, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

We do not sell your information to data brokers for purposes unrelated to the request you made.

When you check the consent box on a quote form you give your electronic signature and express written consent for us and our marketing partners to contact you at the number and email you provided, including by automated dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice and SMS/MMS text, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. This consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. The full consent language appears on the form itself and is stored with your request.

You can withdraw consent at any time; see section 6. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of contact that happened before you withdrew it.

6. Your choices and how to opt out

Texts: reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
Calls: tell any caller you want to be removed from their list, or call us at (405) 504-3786.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email info@directmediaservicesllc.com.
Everything at once: email us with the phone number and email you used on the form and we will pass your opt-out to every partner that received your request and keep a record of it.

7. Your state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws) you may have the right to:

know what personal information we have collected about you and receive a copy of it;
correct inaccurate information;
delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as records we must keep to document consent or comply with the law;
opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling;
limit the use of sensitive personal information; and
not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, email info@directmediaservicesllc.com, or call (405) 504-3786. We will verify your identity by matching the details you provide against the request on file. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission. We respond within the time required by your state’s law, generally 45 days. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.

California notice at collection. We collect the categories of personal information listed in section 2 for the purposes in section 3. We “sell” or “share” identifiers and contact details with matched partners and marketing partners as described in section 4. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of cookie-based sharing on this site. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

8. Cookies, pixels and analytics

We use session storage to remember campaign parameters while you browse, and we may use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel) that set cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and conversions. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling them does not prevent you from submitting a request. We do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control.

9. Data retention

We keep request records, including consent evidence, for as long as needed to document consent and defend claims, generally at least five years, and then delete or anonymize them. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the tool that collected it.

10. Security

Forms are transmitted over TLS encryption, we do not collect payment information, and access to request records is limited to staff and service providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
